First of all we had to share 8 oranges between 24 people...
We decided to cut them in 1/2 = 16 pieces then we cut them into 3's and counted them = 24 pieces
Next we had 6 oranges to be shared between 24 people...
So, first we cut them into 1/2 = 12 pieces, then we cut them into 3's = 18pieces, finally we cut the oranges into 4's = 24 pieces
